Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Perfect Gardens collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. We've written it in plain language rather than legalese, because a privacy policy nobody can read isn't really a disclosure.

Perfect Gardens is operated by LISM LLC.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and the contents of your order. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.

When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. This is standard web analytics and is collected through our store platform.

When you contact us: whatever you choose to tell us, plus your contact details so we can reply.

When you subscribe or join a membership: your subscription selections, billing schedule, and renewal history.

When you leave a review: your name, email, review text, and any photos you upload.

Why we collect it

To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders
To communicate with you about your order
To handle returns, warranty claims, and support requests
To manage subscriptions and recurring billing where you've signed up for them
To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions
To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
To send marketing email, where you've opted in

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the store, and only what they need:

Shopify — our store and checkout platform. Hosts the site and processes orders.
Our distribution partner (DL Wholesale) — receives your name and shipping address for drop-shipped equipment orders, so they can ship directly to you.
Shipping and carrier services — receive your address and package details to generate labels and deliver your order.
Walmart Marketplace — if you ordered through Walmart, order data is exchanged with Walmart to fulfill it. Walmart's own privacy policy also applies to those orders.
Reviews platform — sends review requests after purchase and hosts the reviews and photos you submit.
Subscription and membership services — manage recurring plans and billing schedules.
Post-purchase offer services — display relevant offers after checkout.
Fraud prevention services — screen orders for fraudulent activity.

We may also disclose information where legally required — a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request — or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your session, and measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store — the cart and checkout in particular — may stop working properly if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, honor warranties and returns, and meet our tax and accounting obligations — generally several years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct information that's wrong
Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we're legally required to keep
Opt out of marketing email at any time
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

Colorado, California, and other state privacy laws. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, where we're based, and California — have the rights listed above. We honor recognized universal opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, sent by your browser.

To make a request, email admin@perfectgardens.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, to make sure we're not handing your data to someone else.

Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. Order confirmations, shipping notices, and return correspondence are transactional and will still be sent.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

Payments run through PCI-compliant processors over encrypted connections, and we don't store card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise — but we don't hold data we don't need, which is the best protection there is.

Where we operate

We ship within the United States only, and your information is processed in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
